Last night, the Lord spoke to me through a dream, and as I have prayed into it, I believe it contains a timely word for many in the Body of Christ.

In the dream, I was swimming through the air. I was not flying with wings but moving through the heavens using swimming motions. As I moved, I was teaching others how to do the same. One of the keys was holding your breath.

Below me, the earth was filled with activity. People were occupied with what was happening around them. Then I saw a volcano erupting. Pressure that had been building beneath the surface was suddenly being released. Many were trying to escape the eruption, where as others were learning how to rise above it in a way that seemed humanly impossible.

As I prayed into this dream, I was led to look up scriptures and The Divinity Code by Adam F. Thompson.

Flying meaning — spiritual elevation, seeing from God’s perspective, overcoming earthly limitations, and operating in the Spirit.

Swimming Through the Air meaning — This was the most unusual part of the dream. It speaks of learning how to move in the Spirit from a higher perspective.

Teaching meaning — discipling, mentoring, encouraging, equipping, and demonstrating something that God has taught you.

Holding Your Breath meaning — Breath is deeply connected to the Spirit throughout Scripture. God breathed life into Adam. The Hebrew word Ruach means breath, wind, and Spirit. Jesus breathed upon His disciples and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”

Volcano meaning — pressure that has been building over time, sudden upheaval, shaking, disruption, exposure, or significant changes occurring in individuals, communities, or nations.

What stood out to me was that the volcano was not the focus of the dream.

The focus was learning how to rise above it.

I believe the Lord is calling His people to learn how to move DIFFERENTLY in this hour.

There is much happening in the earth right now. There are pressures, uncertainties, shakings, distractions, and circumstances that continually demand our attention.

But I sense the Lord saying,

“Do not become consumed by what is erupting around you. Learn to move with My Spirit. Learn to live from Heaven’s perspective. Learn to remain connected to My Ruach.”

I believe the Lord is teaching His people how to rise above fear, confusion, anxiety, and fear-driven, fight-or-flight living.

The instruction to hold your breath speaks to remaining focused on the Spirit of God rather than being pulled into every headline, every negative report, every fear, and every distraction.

The Lord is looking for a people who can remain steady while the world goes into panic.

A people who can hear His voice above the noise.

A people who carry His perspective in the midst of upheaval.

I also believe the teaching aspect of the dream is significant. This dream was not just about rising above the shaking personally. It was about demonstrating to others how they can learn to do the same.

I sense the Lord calling His beloved who have been hidden, prepared, and developed through previous seasons. Those who have felt overlooked. Those who have wondered if their calling was delayed. Those who have been quietly learning to walk with God through difficult seasons.

The Lord is preparing many of these ones to mentor, disciple, encourage, equip, and guide others through the days ahead.

Not because they have all the answers, but because they have learned how to remain connected to the Holy Spirit through their own season of fire.

The Lord is teaching His people how to live above earthly turmoil by moving with His Spirit, and He is preparing many to show others how to do the same—not to escape the chaos, but to lead the way.

I sense the Lord saying,

“There are turbulent things occurring in the earth, but I am teaching you how to MOVE DIFFERENTLY. As you stay connected to My Spirit and maintain your focus, you will not be overwhelmed by what is happening around you. You will help others learn how to rise above fear and walk from a heavenly perspective.”

“Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles…” — Isaiah 40:31
