HOW DO WE KNOW OUR PURPOSE IN GOD?

A lady recently contacted me and asked me for some guidance. She said, “I need some advise, how do we know our purpose in God?”

This may be a question for many of you right now, and it was mine for many years until I knew I had a scroll (a heavenly book) that was written about me by my Heavenly Father. When God revealed parts of my scroll, I ate them. Then I began the journey of walking them out with Him, hand in hand, day by day.

You have a scroll (a heavenly book) that was written about your life. The aim is to know what is written in your scroll so you can please your Father by walking it out on Earth.

Parts of our scroll gets revealed to us as we pursue friendship with God, and desire to please Him. You may also find that the things that burn in your spirit, and that you desire to do are apart of your scroll.

For instance, I feel something is missing in my life if I do not worship, if I do not create new songs, if I do not write what the Lord is saying to His people, if I do not reach the lost in some meaningful way.

Your scroll may look different to mine but, as you asked the Father, He will reveal parts of your purpose along the way. But above all our purpose is to know God intimately; to be Gods friend, and to release His presence everywhere we go. It looks different for everyone!

Ask your Heavenly Father tonight to reveal to you what is written in your scroll for each day, each week, each month and year. Sometimes it’s the small things we miss that may seem ordinary at the time, but they will lead us to the bigger picture.

I have said this before, and I’ll say it to you all again! “Do not despise the small beginnings, for they will lead you to the bigger picture!”

“Then I said, “Here I am, I have come— it is written about me in the scroll. I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart.” Psalms‬ ‭40:7-8‬ ‭
