I love that we, as Mother’s and Fathers can disciple our children by simply leading them in the garden of their heart to SEE what Jesus is doing. We did this a lot today, and I was amazed at what they saw Jesus doing in their personal life!

Leading your children to encounter Jesus personally is a lot easier than you might think. Allow the holy spirit to reveal what Jesus is doing in their life RIGHT NOW, by simply inviting them to close their eyes and ask Jesus “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?” You might be pleasantly surprised at how quickly Jesus turns up, and shows them in detail what He is doing in their life RIGHT NOW.

My son shared how he planted a seed in the ground but it wasn’t growing, but then Jesus came with His water, and His light. The seed suddenly grew out of the ground and into the light. This vision not only spoke to Him deeply about the season He has been in, and how the Lord is wanting to encounter Him today, but helped me also understand what my son is needing right now and how I can facilitate this with even more clarity.

My daughter shared that Jesus came to her and started brushing her teeth. Teeth usually represents WISDOM. And choosing to speak words that bring life. This not only encouraged her to speak life and choose wise words, but also helped me see how the Lord is wanting to pour into her in this season.

Sometimes as Mother’s and Fathers we have great ideas on how to mentor, and discipline our children. But we feel
powerless when it doesn’t work as well as we hoped for.

I have now come to realise that we as Mothers and Fathers might need to just step out of their boat sometimes, so Jesus can STEP IN and do what ONLY HE CAN DO.

I pray that we would know how to partner with Jesus, and trust Him enough to be THE REVEALER of God’s mysteries in the lives of our children in this generation!
